Design Verification
Design Verification is the requirement to examine and assess equipment against the legislated standards and regulations (e.g. Australian Standards), the design specification and, as appropriate, the contract or agreement. It must establish the responsibility for the quality of the design, and provide a warrant to the effect that the design meets the defined requirements.
A design can only be verified or certified by a professional engineer who is eligible to do so. Engineers at Engineering Advice are registered on the National Engineering Register and are therefore eligible to be a design verifiers under the WHS regulations.
