Noisy workplace

Noisy environments within industry can sometimes be unavoidable, but their effects on personnel can nonetheless be harmful.  Personnel must, of course use hearing protection, but their exposure should also be limited in accordance with relevant standards that have been developed to minimise harm. Noise and vibration measurement should be undertaken to ensure that the limits are not exceeded.
